Thankfully, Craig remembered that we needed to start our anti-malarial meds last night, in anticipation of our sojourn in Rwanda. Addis Ababa, where we are currently, is about 6,000 feet in elevation. At this altitude, Mosquitos aren't a problem. But malaria is epidemic where we are headed next. So, we are popping those big, red, Malarone pills!

We Made It To Dinner!
Exhausted, but determined to stay up until bedtime, we grabbed a cab to Addis' finest restaurant, located inside the Sheraton hotel. We enjoyed delicious Indian food. Now...off to bed.
Our Greeter
Here is Ephrem, our first introduction to Ethiopian hospitality. He met us at the Hilton booth at the airport and asked us if we knew Jesus Christ. When we answered, "yes," he said to us, "Welcome home."

Arrival in Ethiopia 7:30 a.m. after a 13 hour flight. We are unexpectedly required to have a visa. Thankfully, there is the opportunity to do so on arrival.
